How to Replace an audi lost key G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor
The grey wire is located on the outside of the transmission, above the flywheel ring. The sensor sends an electrical signal through the grey wire to pin T55/49. The ECU utilizes this information to regulate boost and fuel. It also sends signals to the G5 Tachometer located in the instrument cluster.
The sensor serves as a reference point to connect with the G40 Camshaft Position Sensor. The ecu must be aware when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is located so that it can activate spark and injectors according to the situation.
If this sensor fails the ECU will show the P00160 error, which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft are out of sync and could indicate the chain is stretched or a jump link on the upper timing chain. The code will not appear without the additional information provided by other sensors (G4 or G40).
It's a bit tricky to test as there are several pins on the connector and they all have different functions. The best method for doing this is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. When the sensor is fully operational, it should read about 1000 ohms. 2. Injectors
Yesterday, when i was accelerating to the fullest speed from highway paytoll i had massive power loss as if the engine was running out of gas or injectors are not firing any more. I took out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked with gasoline and the fourth was unclean. When i crank the engine without sparks, i place a tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline pop out, but the 4th stay shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found 0ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car is able to start if the G28 is unplugged and runs fine when it is connected, but still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c even when i unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars while the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do. I believe that I've all other possibilities out. I'm afraid i may have missed something. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump on the g28 is activated by a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is the same as the G4 and they both work in the 80, 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a salvage yard or at a parts store. Test them out to do - just put your DMM in resistance mode and measure between pins 1 (with the bump on the connector end up) and 2 (2nd from left on the black connector's end). They must be infinite ohms.
